I saw these gorgeous table settings while visiting Peacock Feathers. They are from the New York Horticultural Society's annual Spring Gala, where 20 decorators were asked to design a table each for the event. Elizabeth from Peacock Feathers was lucky enough to help her friend, Colin Baer, with one of the tables and by the looks of it they did an amazing job. For more photos visit Elizabeth's blog.

Brussels in Bloom

Given that Valentine's Day was yesterday and flowers are often used as a gesture of love, I wanted to post these pics of Brussels in Bloom. Every two years, Grand-Place in Brussels, Belgium is transformed with over one million begonia blossoms. The festival first began in 1971 as way of promoting begonias. This year the design is based on a medieval carpet, and for each square metre 300 flowers are used. Amazing.
