The Rock

It's nice to be back in Victoria, the 40+ degree days, bush fires and power blackouts. Seriously though, one of the highlights of being back is the gorgeous scenery of the Macedon Ranges. With this in mind I thought I'd post a few photos of the beautiful and mystical Hanging Rock which is about five minutes away from home. These shots were taken by freelance writer, Kathy Mexted, who is lucky enough to have this view from her dining room window!

The pictures are awesome. As soon as you mentioned hanging rock though I went all goose bumpy because of the film and I thought it was a true story for most of my life. I had many a fun trip to that mound in my younger days seeing if we could find spooks lol

Hi Melanie,
I thought it was a true story too. When I moved here one of the first things we did was visit The Rock and I was sadly disappointed to find out it was fiction. It still has a bit of an eerie vibe about it though!
