Is it a painting or a print?
I prefer my prints with a white mount in a white frame but my paintings i like to frame differently.
I've just recently started collecting ballerinas. What a beautiful find!

Great find on the picture - not sure how to frame it up, depends on your colour scheme- I'd go either very simple or very ornate. I'm sure that comment really helped?! - sorry, its still early here!
If you can get the print out you can repaint the frame. I have seen this done and it looks great. A stark white or even pink or green would look fab.
I think it needs a powder blue or pale pink mat to pick up the colors in the tutu :)
i echo mon alisa, wide white mount with simple narrow white frame! i love fresh framing.
