We were going through our old childhood books last night and stumbled across one of our favourites. Written by Gilbert Delahaye, the Debbie series were beautifully illustrated by Belgian illustrator, Marcel Marlier. Our absolute favourite was 'Debbie's Birthday Party'. We just had to share some of the gorgeous illustrations with you!

My favorite is Debbie's Dream! I used to read this book over and over when I was a little girl. I had forgotten what the name of the book was and searched forever for it. I finally found it! I was so excited I cried!
