We were going through our old childhood books last night and stumbled across one of our favourites. Written by Gilbert Delahaye, the Debbie series were beautifully illustrated by Belgian illustrator, Marcel Marlier. Our absolute favourite was 'Debbie's Birthday Party'. We just had to share some of the gorgeous illustrations with you!
A new shipment of Murchison-Hume arrives next week. This fantastic Aussie cleaning product has been extremely popular, with customers coming back for refills (always a good sign of a great product). These luxury cleaning products are packaged in apothecary style bottles, are refillable and are phosphates, bleach and sodium laurel sulphate free. With names like Boy's Bathroom Cleaner and Counter Intelligence and fabulous packaging, they're too good looking to hide in the kitchen cupboard! Prices start at $12.50 per bottle, with 1 litre refills starting at $14. Available in store and online at www.enchantedcloset.com.au

Also arriving today at The Enchanted Closet is Nulon Hand and Nail Cream. It comes in very cute retro packaging and smells like a hand cream our nan used in the 70s. It is $12.95 for 75ml, the perfect size for your handbag. This product isn't available in our online store, only at Enchanted Closet, Woodend. However, if you would like us to mail it out to you contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (03) 54271370 and we'd be happy to take your order.

I had the pleasure today of talking to Esa from Tea Pony. Esa is a very talented Australian designer who uses vintage fabrics to make stunning clothing creations for children. Our absolute favourite is the Belle & Boo Dress. Esa has teamed up with UK illustrator Mandy Sutcliffe to create the Belle & Boo Dress, which will be available at The Enchanted Closet soon.
Check out Esa's website www.teapony.com to view her beautiful collection.
Mandy Sutcliffe's illustrations can be seen at www.belleandboo.com or visit her blog at www.belleandboo.blogspot.com.
The new Maiden Luxe range will be available later this week, both in store and online. This gorgeous Australian made label features beautiful sleepwear made from fabrics sourced from around the world. Keep an eye out for the Bloom Lounge Pants. These cotton voile wide leg pj pants are my favourite!

In homage to all those who sew out there, we have put vintage Vogue, McCalls, Style, Simplicity and Butterick sewing patterns to good use and wallpapered our change room with them. A big thank you to our Mum who spent many hours when we were kids making us matching pinafores and Holly Hobbie dresses ♥
We are loving these Lark organic soaps. Made in Australia from organic coconut, olive, palm and sunflower oils and essential oils of lavender and mandarin, they feature gorgeous vintage prints that will take you straight back to your childhood (if you're a 70s child).
